Large Political Orders & Chainwide Rollouts — Behind the Scenes
Whether you need 250 or 50,000 campaign yard signs, Good Guys Signs is built to deliver high-volume orders quickly and consistently—even during peak election season. On time, every time.
Our production facility is designed specifically to handle large political campaigns and statewide rollouts without delays, quality issues, or fulfillment bottlenecks.
Large political campaigns and multi-location rollouts demand more than fast printing. They require production environments designed to absorb sudden volume increases while maintaining consistency, quality control, and dependable fulfillment timelines. Large campaign orders require precision and consistency. Our systems are built to ensure your signs are produced accurately, on time, and ready for distribution when you need them
Good Guys Signs’ current facility, completed in 2022–2023, was purpose-built from a concrete shell specifically to support simultaneous large-scale orders of vinyl, yard signs, and even t-shirts. Every major infrastructure decision—from electrical capacity to workflow layout—was planned around surges in production rather than day-to-day minimum needs.
Electrical service to the building was expanded to more than triple the power requirements of our previous facility, ensuring both current industrial presses and future equipment additions operate without constraint. A compressed air loop runs throughout the primary production areas, allowing new machinery to be integrated efficiently as capacity grows. The layout itself is organized to keep large orders moving continuously without interrupting ongoing production.
Our production model is designed around periodic volume surges, allowing large campaign yard sign and vinyl rollout orders to run alongside everyday work without disrupting normal turnaround expectations.
Built for Large Campaign Orders: Digital Production Capacity:

Industrial printing capacity depends as much on equipment capability as on floor planning. Primary digital sheet/yard sign production is centered on a Durst P5 350HS, supported by an additional high-speed flatbed system that provides workflow flexibility during peak demand periods.
Together, these systems allow daily output to exceed 10,000 digitally printed signs when required, roughly four full 4′×8′ pallets of finished material, while maintaining consistent print quality across runs. Even during peak election periods, we maintain consistently fast turnaround times by running multiple production paths simultaneously.
Rather than relying on a single production path, critical workflows are supported by redundant equipment and flexible scheduling, reducing dependency on any one machine during time-sensitive projects. This level of output allows us to support city, county, and statewide campaigns with consistent production across thousands of signs.

Screen Printing at Scale

In addition to digital production, our screen printing department provides substantial high-volume capacity. Using exclusively M&R screen printing equipment, we are able to produce 20,000+ impressions per day, thus thousands of political yard signs each day, depending on the sign configuration.
We run National UV POP+ inks, maintaining 24 PMS-specific stock colors prepared for rapid deployment. During peak seasons, this represents approximately 300,000–500,000 square feet of ready-to-print ink capacity, allowing large orders to move into production quickly without extended setup delays.
Fulfillment & Logistics Infrastructure

Production scale only matters if finished work can move efficiently out the door. The facility includes three dedicated truck docks along with tandem UPS loading positions, significantly improving loading and unloading throughput compared to our pre-2022 operation.
During peak political cycles, multiple large orders can be prepared and shipped simultaneously without creating fulfillment bottlenecks—a limitation our previous facility frequently encountered.
Our building provides over 58,000 square feet of total operational space, organized around production flow:
16,000+ sq ft — Printing Equipment w/ staging
8,000 sq ft — Finishing Operations
14,000+ sq ft — Material Storage (with 18′ vertical storage capacity)
16,000+ sq ft — Pallet Staging & Fulfillment
3,500 sq ft — Office & Production Support
During election cycles, staging space becomes critical. Multiple large orders — often four to eight pallets each — move through different production phases simultaneously. Some await guillotine or CNC finishing; others are in quality control, while completed pallets are staged by shipment method and freight schedule.
These workflows allow large campaigns and rollout projects to progress in parallel, ensuring high-volume orders move efficiently without slowing other active production.
Many large orders pass through the facility concurrently during peak periods, supported by staging, finishing, and fulfillment systems developed specifically for sustained high-volume production. Having dedicated quality inspection/quality control space is the cherry on top of our systems.
Staffing and Planning: Built for Election Season Surges
Good Guys Signs retains long-time staff with excellent pay and health benefits, plenty of time off, and flexible scheduling for students. This enables us to have an extremely low turnover rate, extending institutional knowledge into new hires. We hire permanent hires in the spring, giving them months of training prior to the meat of the political season, roughly May through mid-October in election years. We begin to add family, temps, and past seasonal people in May, getting them valuable training prior to the middle of June, when things take off. We meet every morning at 7:30 to plan the next 3 days of production, highlighting the progress of both large and complex jobs. This system is built for National Rollouts, be they a political campaign or a product rollout. Our daily meetings engender serious production workflow discipline for these large rollouts. Our facility and staffing model are specifically designed to scale during election cycles, allowing us to handle sudden increases in demand without sacrificing turnaround or quality.
