Our life-size standees come with a detachable easel stand and are scored on the back side so they fold in half for easy transport. You can customize your own human cutout standee by adding a speech bubble. You can make your speech bubble reusable by adding dry-erase lamination as well. However you choose to display your life-size standee, it is sure to be a hit. We offer photo editing services if your photo needs a little TLC. We can make color adjustments, retouch, and even add limbs in some cases. We recommend using only warm water on a clean rag to gently wipe the printed surface. You should avoid using any harsh chemicals or cleaners as they will likely damage or remove the ink from the surface of the plastic. On the back side only, you can use denatured alcohol or other cleaners to remove any dirt, smudges or build-up.
Since these are meant to be used inside only, you can expect to get many years out of this product as long as it is not exposed to direct sunlight at all times. Over time, the sun’s UV rays will begin to fade the print.
It is best to leave your stand-up in a cool, dry place, preferably not in direct sunlight. Sun exposure will fade the print over time. We recommend keeping the stand-up unfolded when not in use. This prevents unnecessary creasing at the fold. On all of our stand-ups, the easel can be folded down and the stand-up can be stored flat in the horizontal or vertical position. Just be sure the stand-up is properly supported if it placed against a wall or laid on the ground, otherwise it could develop a bend or become bowed.
The largest size you can order on our website is 95” tall and up to 47” wide. We have the ability to make larger stand-ups from multiple sheets of material, so please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your custom request.
Our Life Size Stand Ups and Cheer Ups are printed with UV cured inks on white-faced corrugated cardboard. We use a CNC router to cut your print to the desired shape. After being cut, we score the sheet horizontally to allow it to be folded for easy shipping and transport. We then apply an easel to the back side so it can stand up on its own. The easel is attached with double-sided tape. Material upgrades are available.
Our default, affordable option is made from white-faced cardboard that is 1/8“ thick and the back side is brown. This option is recommended for single use occasions or when the stand-up is strictly for display and won’t be moved or touched. If you upgrade to our coro option, it is made from the same lightweight, durable material as our yard signs, 4mm (3/16”) corrugated plastic which is 50% thicker. It is constructed just like our basic cardboard, but it is made from an outdoor durable plastic instead of brown paperboard.
