What are Teardrop Flags?

Our teardrop flags, also known as advertising flags and banner flags, are made with high quality 4oz polyester material printed through a dye-sublimation process for a vibrant and long-lasting flag. Our single-sided flags are slightly translucent, showing a mirror view of the design on the other side. For double-sided flags, we sew three layers together: two printed layers and one layer to block out light from shining through. This ensures that you can read the message no matter which way you're facing!
Teardrop flags are a beneficial solution for your advertising needs. These custom flags come in a variety of sizes and can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications. Metal ground stakes make displaying outdoors in soft soil or turf simple, and cross bases with optional weighted water bag can be purchased for extra stability. Teardrop Flag Options

Single Sided

For single sided flags, we print one side of the polyester fabric and then the ink bleeds through to the back side. This 2nd side will feature an image that is a mirrored, reversed version of the printed front side. It should be noted that pictures and colors on the reverse side will not appear as vibrant as they do on the front.

Double Sided

For optimal visibility, double-sided printing is the way to go when creating teardrop flags. Many vehicles pass by each day, and only half of them have a chance to view your message on a single-sided flag. With double-sided flags, both sides of the flag can be seen and your message can reach more people with its eye-catching vibrancy. Another advantage of the 2-sided teardrop flag is the opaque middle layer between the two printed layers of fabric. This additional layer helps the vibrant color of each printed layer pop, creating a high quality look for your brand or message.

Indoor Use

Indoor teardrop flags are ideal for a variety of promotional advertising applications, including events, expos, and conferences. To ensure proper usage indoors, we recommend using the cross base as the foundation. For added security and stability, the cross base with water bag makes an excellent addition. Teardrop flags are incredibly versatile; you can use them to serve almost any purpose whether it is in a storefront or drawing attention to your booth at an expo. It is important to know the ceiling height of your space before placing an order.

Outdoor Use

Teardrop flags are effective for outdoor advertisements because of the large space available for custom designs and colors. To display these flags outdoors, you should use either a ground stake or a base with a water bag. Our teardrop flags can be used year-round, excluding severe weather conditions or high winds.

Our anti-rust ground spike boasts a Zinc-coated steel construction. It's the ideal choice for displaying your teardrop flags in soft ground, providing a secure and stable mount that you can easily insert into the earth (or use a hammer or mallet with harder surfaces) to hold your flagpole and flag in place. Water Bag

The water bag is an ideal way to add more stability and weight to a cross base when used outdoors or indoors. It's incredibly easy-to-use - just fill it up with water and it will be ready to use in minutes. Plus, the convenience of transport and setup makes this product perfect for any occasion.

Assembling your flag

Teardrop flags are an eye-catching and cost-effective way to bring attention to your business. To assemble your flag, first unfold the high-quality polyester flag graphic and lay it out flat. Then, assemble the aluminum and fiberglass pole set and insert it into the sleeve on the edge of the flag. The pole set should fit snugly, and you can use the included ties to secure it further. Then, place your feather flag on one of the three bases offered: ground spike, cross base, or cross base with water bag.

Caring for your Teardrop Flag

Our high quality teardrop flags can be easily maintained with proper care and storage. When not in use, we recommend storing the flag indoors to protect it from damage due to inclement weather or strong winds. Additionally, for long-term storage, house the flag in a case raised off the ground and out of direct sunlight. Worried about dirt build up over time? You can clean your flag using a damp cloth and lukewarm water, though they may be washed on the delicate cycle (in cold water) if necessary. Following these steps will help maintain your teardrop flag's appearance and extend its lifespan. If and when you machine wash your flag, it is recommended to only air dry and do not place it in a tumble dryer.
