Image quality is part art, part science. Generally, low resolution website pictures look terrible on signs. Web pages need to load quickly, so people visiting a page don't leave the organization's website. If high definition pictures are on the page, the page will load slowly. Thus, nearly every internet picture you find on a storefront or news page is low definition. It might look good at 2' x 2', but will look terrible at 12' tall. Before uploading a picture, zoom in. Is it grainy? Does the edge look crisp? If not sure, email us the image, let us know how big you want it, and we will let you know if it will look good enough to be persuasive. Sometimes, for a small fee, we can use commercial software to improve the quality. Files that are 100 kilobytes (kb) or less, even up to 1000 kb, are often too low quality to use on all but the smallest signs or decals.

Google Images has the ability to display only high definition pictures- play with the settings. However, that does not mean you are legally allowed to use the image. Make sure before you use it. Often, people are honored to have someone use their picture, and say yes, if you ask nicely.

Modern camera phones take excellent images if you choose the highest quality setting. Likewise, tablets can take great pictures, usable for signage products.

Available Colors for printing depends upon the printing method you choose. Silk Screen signs and decals have standard colors that do not incur any additional fees. If you desire a specific silk screen color, called a PMS color, we advise you call in to discuss your job. We have color matching experts. There will be an additional charge, to hand mix ink colors, for this service. This is the only way to guarantee Brand Guidelines and Specific colors are achieved. If the product you choose is digitally printed, we can likewise print with calibrated equipment to achieve specific CMYK values. Again, a phone call is recommended.

Yes. Although the banner graphic can be replaced, we do not recommend attempting this on your own. We recommend having a trained signage professional swap out the graphic, otherwise you could damage the retractable mechanism inside the base.

Our retractable banners are very easy to set up and can likely be done by one person. They come with multi-piece pole that simply connects the metal base to the top of the banner. When it comes time to take the banner down, you just remove the pole and the banner retracts back into the base. Depending on each person’s reach, they may require assistance for our taller retractable banners.

There are few things to think about before choosing the right retractable banner for your needs. If you only plan to use the retractable banner once or twice a year, our basic option will work just fine for your needs. If you plan to travel and / or use the retractable banner constantly, we recommend upgrading to the premium option. You get a slightly larger banner display and the hardware base comes with a lifetime warranty against any mechanical failures in the retractable mechanism.

We recommend only using retractable banners indoors. Retractable banners become very susceptible to wind if placed outdoors and will likely fall over easily. However, if there is a location away from any wind, they can be used for short periods of time outside.

Our vinyl banner material is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. For indoor use banners, we suggest choosing a matte finish banner to help reduce glare from overhead lighting. Canvas material, however, is only recommended or indoor use.

There is not a set recommended frequency to clean your banner, just use your best judgement. Most banners placed indoors will not require the same frequency of cleaning compared to a banner placed outdoors on a fence.

Your banner can be cleaned with warm water on a wet cloth or rag. Please refrain from using any harsh chemicals to clean your banner, you may ruin your print.

The vinyl banner material can wrinkle, but the good news is they come out pretty easily. If you have the space and the weather allows, lay your banner flat on the ground in direct sunlight and the wrinkles should go away within a couple hours. Another alternative is to use a hair dryer, just be careful not to let the material get too hot.
