Our bumper sticker material is a quality vinyl known as Oracal 3621. It has a removable adhesive that lightly bonds to nearly all dry, clean surfaces. 3621’s low-tack adhesive, with pressure, bonds well. This can be applied to painted wood or vehicles, as removal will likely not harm the wood’s paint or the vehicle’s clear coat. Painted vehicle metal should only receive low-tack or wrap vinyl. This low-tack vinyl sticker removes cleanly for up to 2 years.

This economy Oracal 3621 vinyl and adhesive combo sticks to flat surfaces best, as well as gentle curves. This removable vinyl sticker does not remain stuck to sharp-direction changes for extended periods of time. 3M 40, Duration X, 3M 180CV3, and 3M 175CV3 are formulated for sticking to more extreme angles.

This low-tack vinyl sticker has a grey adhesive and thus is meant to cover up underlying graphics. Oracal’s Orajet 3621 is recommended for use as a cover-up sticker for short-term use.

This economy-calendared vinyl, Oracal 3621, performs well outdoors for over a year without lamination and two years or more when laminated before noticeable fading. When used indoors with lamination, service life is effectively long-term, though gradual material shrinkage can begin after roughly one year — a normal characteristic of lower-cost calendared films. Adding a laminate makes vinyl decals easier to handle and install by increasing overall stiffness, which helps prevent stretching or wrinkling during application. Lamination also improves resistance to sunlight, abrasion, and routine cleaning with cloths or mild cleaners. These durability timelines come from real-world testing by Good Guys Signs in the Florida sun on multiple surfaces—not brochure specifications.

This removable sticker material is commonly chosen for flat applications where cost and print quality matter most. Typical uses include bumper stickers, product labels, and placement on painted surfaces. It’s also well-suited for full-color sticker runs where short-term performance is acceptable. We’ve produced these stickers at scale for branded promotions and political campaigns.

Every sticker is produced at true high resolution using professional-grade printing equipment. We run only commercial printers from Epson, Canon, and Durst, and we print exclusively with genuine OEM inks—never third-party or economy substitutes. Print output is held to a minimum of 300 DPI for crisp detail, clean edges, and accurate color. For designs that demand extra finesse, including smooth gradients and very small text, we use a dedicated multi-ink Epson system capable of rendering fine detail that lower-end setups simply can’t match.

Adhesive Type

Oracal 3621 (Orajet 3621) has a grey, removable, water-based adhesive designed for reliable bonding on smooth surfaces. The adhesive sets well with light application pressure and is cleanly removable up to 2 years after initial use. Because the adhesive is grey, this vinyl is usable for cover-up or blockout applications. For best results, application is recommended at temperatures above 50°F, allowing the adhesive to properly flow and bond to the surface.

Vinyl Brand

Oracal’s Orajet 3621 is a 3 mil thick white PVC vinyl for short- to medium-term applications. It is German-engineered for consistency of printing and cutting, the best economy vinyl we’ve ever found. The backing paper, aka “Release Liner”, is 83# silicone-coated paper.

Outdoor Life

Outdoor performance includes both color durability and material stability over time. For Oracal Orajet 3621, unlaminated prints typically maintain appearance outdoors for over one year before noticeable fading begins. Adding a UV-resistant economy laminate extends outdoor color life to two years or more. Material movement follows a similar timeline. Without lamination, gradual shrinkage may begin around the one-year mark. What is Image Quality how to I make my images print as best as possible.

  • Image quality is part art, part science. Generally, low resolution website pictures look terrible on signs. Web pages need to load quickly, so people visiting a page don't leave the organization's website. If high definition pictures are on the page, the page will load slowly. Thus, nearly every internet picture you find on a storefront or news page is low definition. It might look good at 2' x 2', but will look terrible at 12' tall. Before uploading a picture, zoom in. Is it grainy? Does the edge look crisp? If not sure, email us the image, let us know how big you want it, and we will let you know if it will look good enough to be persuasive. Sometimes, for a small fee, we can use commercial software to improve the quality. Files that are 100 kilobytes (kb) or less, even up to 1000 kb, are often too low quality to use on all but the smallest signs or decals.

    Google Images has the ability to display only high definition pictures- play with the settings. However, that does not mean you are legally allowed to use the image. Make sure before you use it. Often, people are honored to have someone use their picture, and say yes, if you ask nicely.

    Modern camera phones take excellent images if you choose the highest quality setting. Likewise, tablets can take great pictures, usable for signage products.

What resources are available for high resolution artwork?

  • This is the trickiest part of getting your signs or decals to look great. Starting with the highest definition image is the best way to end with something that look fantastic. Our culture is used to high def, so when we see something that is fuzzy, we often associate it with low quality. Our best recommendations to start with high definition imagery:


    1) Use a premium service like Shutterstock.com to purchase a high definition image, then upload it to us. Services like Shutterstock.com have royalty free, images that are often only $10. You can upload it to our design software and add elements to it to complete your signs.


    2) We subscribe to "Freepik.com", with a premium account. If you see an image at the Freeepik.com website that you would like to use, you can email us the photo name and/or number, and we will email it to you for use in your sign.

What kind of image should I use for my Logo?

  • Good Guys Signs employs many graphics artists. Like any artisan, some are great at composition, some have more illustration skills, and some focus on commercial design. We bill for this service to the minute, so it's fair to both you and us. Hint: It is helpful to be able to communicate graphically with an artist before they begin billable work for you. If you were to go to Google Images and find the type of lettering, coloring, pictures or art you like, they will be able to deduce quite a bit from the emailed files you send them. You might not be able to explain why you like some text, but they will instantly know you prefer your text to have a bevel with an inner glow, for example. This saves you money and frustration.
