Where Can You Order Custom Yard Signs?

That might be your question. Your answer is easy. Order your signs with us. Superior products, extremely competitive prices, and unrivaled turnaround time. But let’s get away from the sales pitch and provide you with some information.

        The Trusty Yard Sign:

Custom yard signs are generally made out of corrugated plastic. Corrugated means that there are flutes, or channels, with which wire stakes are inserted to hold the sign up. Our plastic signs are mainly 4mm thick, which equates to about 1/6th of an inch. These yard signs are used for a wide array of scenarios like:

  • Birthday parties
  • Political campaign advertising
  • Church events
  • Promoting a sale
  • Graduation celebrations

The most commonly purchased size of a custom sign is 18”H x 24”W. Generally square or rectangular in shape, we can also do what’s known as a shape cut. A shape cut yard sign really enhances what your intent might be. If you’re a political candidate seeking office, you might want to consider going with shape cut custom signs with a picture of you and your family or pet. Think about how the impact that facial recognition and personality would distinguish yourself in a sea of these—

Yard Sign Printing:

Yards signs are mostly printed digitally, but we also do screen printing. Digital is the preferred method for smaller orders (under 100) while going the screen route is great for larger orders. Both methods have their upside in the battle for superiority. There are just a few factors to weigh when ordering custom signage.

Displaying Yard Signs:

We mentioned wire stakes with the corrugated plastic signs earlier. But there are some other materials we work with. One is aluminum and the other is called alumacore. Realtors will frequently employ aluminum signs.

They deliver a slick, upscale appearance with their high gloss finish. Those types of signs require more than wire stakes. We have the several different types of frames that hold realtor signs.

Alumacore is like aluminum that has been to the gym three hours a day for a year. It is a rigid material consisting of a white corrugated plastic core and thick sheets of aluminum bonded to the core on both sides. Even though there are two sheets of aluminum in this sign design, the plastic core keeps the product more lightweight than a solid aluminum one. You’ll see signs like this at architectural installations and point-of-purchase displays.

We carry wire stakes, iron frames, and A-frames as well. A-frames are perfect to display a sale or promotion right outside your store. They have a classic sandwich board feel to them.

Ordering Your Custom Yard Sign From Us:

Right out of the gate, we threw a little soft sell at you. But why you should really order from us? The answer goes way beyond lawn sign material, metal stakes, and our knowledge of the industry. We hold an acronym at Good Guys Signs that we take extremely serious as our core belief—GMTYT. What does it stand for? Give More Than You Take. It’s not just some silly saying to us. It is innate within.

We feel the world needs more givers, and we want to show that spirit lives in us. To put this philosophy in our business model, we have a simple credo. If a customer spends $200 on signage, we want to give them more than $200 worth of printed materials, quality, speed, and advice. We want to blow our customers away with what we provide. Growth comes from genuinely acknowledging issues that arise, making them right, and learning from mistakes. To be perfect is a practical impossibility. We work hard on getting better every single day. We define greatness as, “Excellence Sustained Over Time.” The poster below lives in the production area at our shop.

We strive to deliver excellence to every client who puts their trust in us. It means our dedicated, service-oriented team will be there for you in all phases of the printing process. From design to advice to delivery time, you are without question the top priority. It may seem like just a little yard sign, but we want it to make a difference for you.
