When I first started working at Good Guys Signs, my boss told me that customers have two main questions on their mind above all else. Regarding their custom yard sign, they wanted to know:
- How much does a yard sign cost?
- How soon can I get my custom sign?
We’ll address the second question in this article. Inherently, when people buy something, they want it in their hands fast. It’s in part why Amazon has become so popular, and a highly sought-after method for purchases. We get it. Let’s say you buy an iPhone online. What if you were told you will receive it in a week or 10 days? That would be crazy frustrating. What if you plunked down thousands of dollars for a new car, and they said you won’t have it to drive it for two weeks? That goes beyond frustrating. That would make you livid, infuriated, and exasperated. We’ll never put you through that.
Digital Printing and Pickup:
Digital printing is quick and efficient, especially for smaller orders of up to 100 units. We will have your digitally printed yard sign ready for pickup in a day or two for any run of that amount. In fact, we can have a couple hundred ready for you in that brief timeline. Please note that if you are looking to purchase a larger order of around 300 custom signs or so, our timeline extends…but just barely.
Either way, be aware that the production begins once you approve the artwork our designers put together for you, or you come up with what you want by using our design templates or design tool. You can easily find them on our website, and they are both very user-friendly.
Silk Screen Printing and Pickup:
With silk screen printing of a custom lawn sign, the preparation process is quite detailed to actually get the sign put on the printing machine. But, the great thing is, once it makes it to the print apparatus, the procedure is actually much quicker than other methods of printing. It’s the way to go for larger orders, because the prep time for the signage is the same for one sign or a thousand of them. With that, your awesome new sign will be ready for you in about two to three days. As with digitally printed signs, it will take us just a little more time to deliver orders of 300 signs or so. Again, not much longer. Our fantastic staff is quite knowledgeable and aware of how busy our shop might be when you call. So, they can easily give you a timetable as to when larger orders will be done and ready for you when you place your order.
