Car wrap prices are not all the same, as there are some important factors that come into play regarding how the cost is calculated. Among them are:
- Full Wrap vs Partial Wrap
- Vehicle Size
- Vehicle Contour
- Type of Vinyl Applied
- Paint, Dents, Scratches
Here are some average price ranges in mid-sized U.S. cities to fully wrap a commercial vehicle in 2021. These numbers will assume you will purchase long-lasting 3M™ vinyl, factory inks, and use a certified, trained installer who provides guaranteed work that comes with a warranty.
Small Car-
Small commercial cars will run you in the neighborhood of $2,500-$2,700. This includes wrapping of the hood, the sides, the rear bumper, and some windows. Please note that we are prohibited from wrapping the front driver and passenger windows. It is against the law to drive and not be able to see clearly out of those windows. Also, if your small car is not very tall, you might consider requesting we print the roof of your car. People can see your roof depending on the height of your car. It would look sloppy if the rest of the car had wonderful graphics all over it and they could see the disjointed appearance between wrap and original paint of your roof.

Mid-Sized SUV-
A mid-sized SUV is $2,750-$3,000. This price includes the same parts that get wrapped as with a small car. The good news with a mid-sized SUV is that they’re usually tall enough that most people won’t be able to see the roof. What we do recommend is that you request us to continue the print panels to curve just a couple of inches from the body over and onto the roof for appearances. You’ll save money from not needing to print the whole roof, while at the same time, giving off the look that the wrap doesn’t have a distinct stopping point. It will look like you do have the roof wrapped.
Large SUV or Mid-Sized Van-
A large SUV or mid-sized van (like a Sprinter) will cost $2,900-$3,500+. The price on these includes the hood, sides, rear bumper, and some windows. Generally, only NBA basketball players could see the roof, so just like with mid-sized SUVs, roof wrapping is likely not necessary. It’s just encouraged to do that bit of wrapping from sides to roof for a smoother-looking transition from vinyl to paint on the roof.

Pickup Truck-
Like a mid-sized SUV, the price range for a pickup truck is between $2,750-$3,000. All surface areas on a pickup come with the same price tag as an SUV. The only other area we do not wrap is inside the bed, as most pickups have a liner there. Wrapping the roof would be pretty pointless, as most of today’s truck cab heights are well out of line of sight to see the top of. Again, we recommend doing that little bit of wrapping from cab to roof. We mentioned wrapping windows earlier. The price for a pickup includes the rear window even if it has multiple panels.

16-Foot Box Truck-
A 16-foot box truck has a price tag of $3,400 or more. This price assumes a full wrap, but doesn’t include fully wrapping the exterior of the cab, or things like bumpers or grills. There is extra material and extra labor for this. What it does include would be wrapping the box truck’s sides, rear, the space above the cab on the front of the box, and the cab sides with small decals. This price also assumes a normal height of the truck that is up to 8 feet tall.
